Cell phones have been around for hundreds of years. It’s no surprise that more and more people are beginning to partake in cellphone use. Cell phones provide society with an easier way of communicating and obtaining information, but at the same time there are some negative consequences. What most people don’t realize is that cellphones are actually quite harmful to modern society. Scientifically cellphones emit radiations that can potentially produce fatal results. Overall cellphones have many benefits, but indefinitely they are detrimental to one’s wellbeing. Scientific Perspective There are numerous unwanted health problems that cell phones can generate. The possibility of the formation of a cancerous tumor is one of them. When talking on the phone, cell phones are placed next to the salivary gland. In order to determine whether or not cell phones serve as a factor for causing cancer, the saliva’s of heavy cell phone users and non -cell phone users were compared. It was found that the saliva of the heavy cell phones users contained large amounts of â€Å"oxidative stress†. The danger behind this discovery is that oxidative stress produces certain radicals that damage parts of cells, and is an important risk factor for cancer (Hubbard 1). Accent Marks and Indirect Questions in Spanish

For beginning Spanish students, the rule theyre taught about orthographic accents may seem straightforward: Words such as quà © (what) and cuà ¡ntos (how many) have accents on them when theyre used in questions but dont otherwise. But the use of such accents marks in reality is a bit more complicated, as the accent mark is retained in some types of statements. For example, heres one sentence you might see: El Banco Central no aclarà ³ cuà ¡ntos dà ³lares vendià ³. (The Central Bank did not make clear how many dollars it sold.) Accents in Indirect Questions It is true that various words have orthographic accents—accent marks that affect the meanings of words but not the pronunciation—when they are parts of questions. The twist to the rule that questions can be part of statement, a statement that ends in a period, rather than as part of a question, a sentence that begins and ends in question marks. Such questions are known as indirect questions. For example, the sample sentence above indirectly asks the question of how many dollars were sold, but it doesnt do so directly. Some indirect questions are obvious, as in this sentence: Quisiera saber dà ³nde puedo encontrar algà ºn programa para convertir archivos de MP3. (I would like to know where I can find a program for converting MP3 files.) Often, sentences that begin in phrases such as quiero saber (I want to know) or no saber (I dont know) are indirect questions. But sometimes the indirect questions are more subtle. Police brutality has been a major issue since slavery. In slavery people, mainly whites, were able to do anything to black people without having to deal without dealing with the consequences. Families were destroyed, people died, babies were killed, and many unknown factors still to this day that will never be known. When slavery was abolished, it did not end right away. It took several years and still is not abolished if you look at in a political way. People of power, mainly white, were not happy that a black person could be seen as equals. This is the main reason why they feel it is okay to lash out at black people. There are several major issues that are causing and epidemic in The United States. Audie Murphy is remembered by the military as the highest decorated Soldier in American history. He received every decoration for valor that this country had to offer and four more decorations from France and Belgium (DoA, 1999). Visionary Leader Audie Murphy is considered a visionary leader because he demonstrated the visionary leadership traits of cognitive flexibility and idealized influencing during battles fought against the Germans. Murphy consistently exhibited cognitive flexibility throughout his military career as an enlisted Soldier and officer. According to the Barnes Center for Enlisted Education article, Change Management (2014), one trait of a visionary leader is having cognitive flexibility. Cognitive flexibility is the ability to use different thinking strategies and mental frameworks (BCEE, 2014 C). As an enlisted Soldier, Murphy never shied away from a battle. He was first to the fight always finding the best battlefield strategies to keep his fellow Soldiers alive. On 05 Oct 1944, Murphy determined that the only way to win this battle was if he solely advanced towards the Germans in order to relay firing orders via his radio. While the Germans fired directly at Murphy, he continued to direct his men for over an hour until the battle was won. It is no surprise that shortly after that battle, Audie Murphy received a battlefield commission (Smithenra, n.d.). After many similar battles, it was proven that the Soldiers would follow Murphy into battle no matter the circumstances. As a transformational leader, Audie Murphy displayed the characteristics of an idealized influencer.

Social interaction between the two groups of children can be encouraged in a number of different ways. Suggestions for ways to use teacher attention and to structure the classroom to promote socially interactive play are discussed below. Teachers and adults can be very effective in promoting social interaction by encouraging children to play together and by praising them when they do. Revolution was and street fights are example of direct conflict. * Indirect Conflict: The indirect conflict is in which the people do not restrain or injure other in seeking there ends but manage to attain their own goals which the opponent cannot appro ach to his goal in any way. It means obstruction in rivals is created. Group opinion is colored against the rival about his aims. Talking ill of others and backbiting are also indirect conflicts. These are the frequently occurring instances in the social life of people. Importance: Conflict generally occurs due to individual differences, cultural differences, clash of interests and social changes. Conflict in its extreme form brings war and destruction of lives and property. Those conflicts which cause wars or may take hostile form may destroy lives and property of the people – may cause great negative psychological and moral change. Conflict serves as constructive and positive ends. In corporate conflicts – that is, between groups and societies, solidarity and fellow-feelings are increased.
